BEFORE AND AFTER!

Okay, here we go with my first before and after! I didn't want to start big so I took the easiest Hot Spot I could find and took the before pic and then quick as a bunny I doused it!

Well, now! At least I'm consistent! I never write in my blog, or few and far between posts!  But things are going to change (maybe) and I'm going to use this blog for 3 or 4 things:
1-pics of my ceramics
2-pics of my friendship bracelets
3-before and after pics of my messy/unmessy rooms
4-pics in general that I like and the ones that inspire me

So let's start with the ceramics! Well, that will have to be later, because the newest ceramic endeavor is still on my cellphone (I think). Wait! I'm gonna check! OH! it IS in a file on my computer! Okay.....there it is!  It took me forever to do this sculpture and I did it from pictures of myself. It was FUN and it was a challenge! I still have to take the sculpture home. I'm going to paint it with skin toned Superkryl paint. That I'm going to do by mixing red yellow and white paint together until I get the skin tone right...take it from me===it ain't gonna be easy!

Okay, that's enough for today. I don't want to overdo it!

Norfolk Daddy

I'm taking a class in ceramics and I decided to make an eagle....and his name is Norfolk Daddy. Everyone says he's beautiful but he'll look even better after he's been fired the first time and then glazed and fired again! So there he is, a bit pale because the colors get better after he's been in the kiln. I really wanted to rename him Liberty, but that is a possibility since I've already identified with his as Norfolk Daddy! I know it sounds a bit nutty, but the best way to make any kind of sculpture or puppet is to name it and think about how you want it to look. I even had a picture of him to work with!

ANIMALS!

Boy! That's FUNNY! I created a blog and never continued. I even forgot that I started it. Gotta get serious about this blog thing.....gotta think about what to write....what the subject of this blog will be....how to overcome typos.

I guess I can start with the thing I love the most, besides my family and the computer and my ddoggie and my dcat and chocolate: ANIMALS and animal stories and funny animal pics.
